Rink Booking Instructions

  • Rink booking registration

    Before you can use the system, you will NEED to REGISTER as a USER

    1. Click on the SIGN IN button top right corner

    2. On the sign page use the 'Not Yet Registered. Please sign up' section

    3. Please complete the details and make a note of your password. When complete click on the 'Register now' button, you will see a message saying “THANK YOU FOR REGISTERING”.

    4. You will need to wait for your registration to be approved

    5. Once approved, click on the SIGN IN button top right corner

    6. On the sign page use the 'Already Registered. Login here' section

    Your USER NAME is your first name and surname that you used when registering - all lower cases with no spaces

    E.g. Fred Blogs’ USER NAME becomes : fredblogs - Sarah Jones USER NAME becomes: sarahjones

    Key in your password, exactly the same, remembering to use any capital letters & characters you used.

    Press the SIGN IN button – you all then get an ALERT MESSAGE and you’ll know you’re logged in

  • Once logged in

    You’ll see a weekly calendar view, on each day there are 5 time slots. You’ll be able to see when matches, or special events are on. You’ll have 5 possible slots you can book

    10.00am to 12.00pm

    12.00pm to 2.00pm

    2.00pm to 4.00pm

    4.00pm to 6.00pm

    6.00pm to 9.00pm

  • To make a booking

    Once signed in, go to the date and time you want to book, click on one of the spare rink slots – complete the boxes

    Choose slots – this is the quantity of rinks you want to book, not the RINK number itself.

    Plase note:

    Rinks are still drawn at the time of play using the bag/golf ball method

    There is a hierarchy for rink selection on the night:

    National club

    National individual

    County club

    County individual

    Club competition

    Roll ups and coaching

    If there are multiple games at same level, then rinks drawn from the bag

    Choose game name

    Click the V symbol and choose the type of match from the drop down menu

    Additional information

    You might want to type something in here e.g. Coaching session for A Thomas, B Smith, S Jones

    Name of opposition

    Type in who the match is between

    Provisional booking

    Click this button if it is initially a provisional rink book (sometime you need to offer someone multiple dates)

    Request a slot

    You will then get a Thank You for your booking message on screen and an e-mail will be sent to you confirming the booking

  • Team availability and selection

    Click on the teams tab at the top of the page and you’ll then see a list of matches in date order

    Click on the View tab, to make yourself available for selection

    Click the square box next to your name in the Green box. If you have a preferred playing position, please put this in Blue box

    Click the Red Save box when you’re happy with any changes

    Selected Teams will then appear on the right hand side of the page, please click the Y/N button to let us know you’re still available
